Adjustable bases have evolved in recent years to more sophisticated designs, and can be used with most non-innerspring products, including Tempurpedic, Serta iComfort, latex, and other foam mattresses. The ability to articulate the head and foot of your mattress up and down has many health benefits, including aiding in breathing issues, back problems, and circulation issues. An adjustable base also has many lifestyle benefits, allowing someone to read in bed, work on a computer or watch television.
Adjustable bases are available individually or in pairs. The most important sizes are Twin Long (39” x 80”), California King Split (36” x 84”) , and Queen (60” x 80”). Both California King and Eastern King adjustable base systems can be used with one mattress or with two.
